3M is seeking qualified candidates for a Crushing & Screening Team Member position in our Pittsboro, NC plant.

The position of Crushing & Screening Team Member will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

* Maintaining cleanliness of work areas through different means such as shoveling, sweeping, wheelbarrow usage and / or bobcat, front loader and fork truck operation
* Housekeeping duties including sweeping and shoveling crushed rock
* Cleaning in, under and around factory equipment such as rotary kilns, mixers, and conveyor belts
* Temporary assignments to fill-in/relieve other positions in other departments
* Checking in with supervision at start of shift to obtain specific duties for their shift

This position requires working:

* Rotating shifts
* Extended hours
* Weekends

This position may require:

* Short notice call in
* Working holidays
* Working overtime
* Working in varying climate conditions
* Wearing protective equipment including, but not limited to a respirator, safety shoes, safety glasses and hard hat- don't need to screen on it, needs to be on req
* Obtaining and maintaining a valid PIV (Power Industrial Vehicle) license

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

* Three years experience in mining, manufacturing, construction, or military
* Experience operating a powered fork truck
* Understanding and following both oral and written instructions
* Self-motivated, team oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills
