Harte-Hanks, a leader in CRM sales, lead management, and Internet transaction processing is looking for a talented professional to join our team as a Data Analyst. The successful candidate for this position will work directly with our high tech clients within their field marketing organization. Position location is Research Triangle Park, North Carolina at our client site.

Position Summary:

Collect multi-faceted data, analyze the information and make recommendations which drive decision making.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Work with Area Marketing Teams and Account Teams to deliver high engagement opportunities through scalable demand generation marketing.
* Work with the area marketing managers to develop more automated metrics for customer reporting and operational reporting.
* Develop intimate knowledge of customers to best identify targeting strategies.
* Collect reporting data from across multiple sources and teams, and interpret results to best demonstrate business value.
* Use business acumen to understand key market drivers, and develop reporting methodology to identify program impact.
* Must be liaison between data analytics and marketing. Ability to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities then effectively communicate to key stakeholders.

Required Experience, Skills and Education:

* Degree in Business, Engineering, Math or Statistics.
* Ability to analyze process flows and develop improvements.
* Ability to build SQL queries and Access databases.
* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Past experience in database marketing.
* Excellent organizational skills required.
* Passion for data driven analytics a requirement.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
* Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, Excel and Access) required.
* Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment is required.
