The Financial Services operating group serves all major industry segments in banking, insurance and capital markets. The Financial Services North America Banking Client Service Group provides consulting and outsourcing services to retail banking and payments clients throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Accenture's North American Banking practice is responsible for driving Accenture's go-to-market strategies and offerings for our US and Canadian clients, bringing our best offerings and leveraging our global banking practices and experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Core Banking Consultant May Include:

* Develop and deliver core banking solutions for the applications that process the essential functions of banks, including account management, interest calculations, cash deposits and withdrawals processing, customer management and product management
* Core Banking skills include:
* Deposit account servicing - Develop and deliver business solutions for servicing current/checking/deposit accounts including account set-up, customer queries, deposits, withdrawals and transfers across the full range of banking channels
* Application Processing: Develop and deliver business solutions for processing customer applications for banking products and services, including work flow solutions, know-your-customer processes and credit checking
* Core Banking Re-Platforming: Develop and deliver business solutions for re-platforming core banking systems including Alnova, SAP and Oracle
* Fraud Management: Develop and deliver business solutions for managing fraud, including anti-money laundering and sanctions processing as well as using rules and data driven solutions such as Falcon
* Credit Sales and Servicing - credit origination, fulfillment and servicing for all types of credit products including mortgage, direct and indirect loan, and credit card

* Architect, integrate and deliver world-class business solutions to clients in the retail banking or mortgage lending business
* Provide insight and advice to help our clients depict their target banking and lending businesses
* Design and develop solutions and structuring programs
* Source and coordinate work from other internal workforces
* Manage risks associated with delivery from multiple locations
* Ensure we deliver accurate, on-time business results to the client
* Effectively apply appropriate blend of banking/lending content expertise, technology acumen and project/program management discipline to lead through the planning, analysis, testing, design and implementation of new business solutions
* Ability to travel up to 100%

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 2 years of deposits systems integration experience, loan system installation or teller integration experience
* 2 years of experience within core banking
* Bachelors Degree (Finance, Economics, Business, or Computer Science/MIS)

Preferred Skills:

* 2 years of experience in core banking sales, service or back office business processes and departments
* 2 years of experience in process redesign of core banking sales, service or back office processes

Professional Skills Required:

* Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
* Desire to work in an information systems environment
* Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
