Location: Durham, NC

Description

Synopsis: Network Engineer supporting large US Government contract providing direct customer Tier IV support associated with network design and consulting. Hands-on expertise required with key knowledge areas supporting: EIGRP, DMVPN, IPSec, routing, switching and network architectures. Required skills in the area of Cisco routers, routing protocols, BGP, encryption and network management required. CCNP/ CCIE level of skills in the areas of networking, VoIP and solution fit required. Bachelor's degree desired, graduate degree preferred.

Advanced skills in the area of MPLS, COS, network design and troubleshooting required. This engineer will be required to design detailed, complex networks with minimal direction. Experience in the areas of global networks at every level is required. Some knowledge of TIC, OCX, WAN acceleration and virtualization a plus.

Must have 5-years of relevant hands-on experience supporting IP networking, network design and have a current working knowledge of advanced data networking.

US Citizen - public trust clearance (obtainable)

No relocation; prefered work location is NC but not required. Can work Virtual as welll.
