Nielsen is offering an outstanding part-time opportunity. This position allows varied and non-traditional hours to include afternoons, evenings and weekends. Primary focus of this role is to visit homes to collect demographic and TV related information. Part-time Interviewers make personal visits to potential Nielsen families, without an appointment. Nielsen families will have their daily viewing gathered and reported in the Nielsen sample. This position will require travel using your personal vehicle throughout Charlotte and the surrounding counties including some homes 3 hours away.

Requirements include excellent communication skills, access to a reliable car for business purposes as well as meet our insurance requirements.

This unique position with The Nielsen Company offers the following:

Work out of your home (laptop provided)

Flexible scheduling (15 - 20 hours per week, based on business needs)

Paid Training program

13.50/hour plus mile reimbursement and a $.72 per hour bilingual differential for those who pass our language skills assessment

Qualifications

In addition to a professional, get-it-done attitude, the successful candidate must possess the following qualities:

- Self-motivated

- Excellent organizational skills

- Ability to meet deadlines

- Communication proficiency in all formats

- MS Windows experience including Word, Excel and Outlook

- Valid Drivers License

- Must have a reliable form of transportation for business purposes as well as meet our insurance requirements

- High School Diploma/GED

- Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred
