Job Summary

Aircraft Electrician: Must have at least ( 4) years experience in the aircraft electrical trade.
Troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and tests complex aircraft electrical systems, components, and
accessories with intricate wiring such as automatic flight control, landing gear, anti-skid, ignition, stall warning, power distribution, engine drive alternator, and fuel indicating systems. Replaces defective control units, relays, boards, servo units, indicating instruments, etc. Removes or relocates electrical and electronic components and wiring to facilitate the installation of new electric and electronic equipment. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates electrical systems, parallel generator units, and set voltages in AC inverts, DC regulators and generators. Manufactures a variety of aircraft "breakout boxes" and panels to facilitate testing of electrical systems. Sets-up and operates computerized circuit analyzing equipment to run diagnostic programs to test aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cable of the entire aircraft or individual systems such as automated flight control systems.
This position requires a background check with favorable results.
This position requires shift work.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in awkward positions, sitting, standing, kneeling, crawling, bending and stooping.
Must comply with all Federal, State, Local and Company safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
        High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum three (3) years actual and recent depot level aircraft structural maintenance / repair experience is required.
        Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license.
        Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.
        Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.
        May be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check.
        Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
