Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer, with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Arcadis Field Tech Solutions (AFS) Team.  You will assist with task managing of project work across the northeast region.  

This position can be located out of any of our offices on the Eastern half of the United States. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Writing and preparation of reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Data management (compilation, manipulation, and evaluation of data)
  • Conducting project related research (historic data, regulations, etc.)
  • Conducting alternatives analysis
  • Preparing periodic status/program reports
  • Contacting regulatory and municipal agencies and subcontractors/vendors to coordinate field activities and obtain project-related information 
Additional duties include may field related task and required travel.  Field activities may include tasks such as:
  • Implementation of various field activities including soil borings, bail down testing, well installation and decommissioning, waste management, etc.
  • Health and Safety oversight of fieldwork and subcontractors
  • Elevation surveying
  • Soil and groundwater sampling per EPA Methods
  • Site Inspections
Key Attributes:
  • Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel to prepare technical reports and spreadsheet data entry
  • Technical writing responsibilities require excellent written communication skills and interaction with staff requires strong interpersonal communication skills.
