Title: Sr. System Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months - Renewable contract
Location: Durham, NC
Atrilogy's Direct client is looking for a passionate Sr. System Analyst in Durham, NC to build and support world-class products for its highly business critical Planning and Advice Services Tribe. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment. As a senior system analyst on the team, your primary role will be working with consuming applications and business to understand the requirements, convert them into user epics/ stories, apply design principles to arrive at the solutions, help design the test strategy for the REST API’s on our Planning & Advice Platform. You are expected to quickly gain an understanding of all the components of our platform to be able to lead and contribute to strategic roadmaps and initiatives related to the enhancement, maintenance, and support of the platform.
Required Expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years system analysis experience
  • Strong previous experience API development involving Java, Spring MVC, WebServices (SOAP/REST).
  • 2+ years of database design experience.
  • Working knowledge of java batches
  • Deep knowledge of Design patterns, UML
  • Well versed with Test Driven Development – knowledge of tools like cucumber is a plus
  • Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment.
  • Leadership: Team player, self-starter, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn every day.
  • Understanding of cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or azure) will be a plus
  • Understand the requirements and design solutions that maximize reuse and are flexible for future needs
  • Write epics/stories and help developers translate it in working code
  • Align the work with the vision of the platform
  • Help development teams see the big picture
