The Application Developer is focused primarily on development projects, generally led by a Software Engineer. They will perform tasks assigned by a Software Engineer in development sprints in order to complete these projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications
Diagnose issues in software applications and environments
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
Interact with colleagues and/or partners through a variety of mediums to provide support and understand needs
Carry out tasks on a variety of projects, per assignments from Software Engineer
Code according to the Business Unit’s standards and design guidelines

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
UI development (using WinForms and WPF)
Strong computer skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to develop professionally
Strong team player, ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization
Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
Problem solving abilities and the ability to meet reasonable deadlines
Ability to work under general supervision
Good understanding of the Business Unit’s system, code base, and processes
Ability to train others on the Business Unit’s system
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field is preferred
2-4 years of relevant experience in the software development field or in a related area
Professional office environment
Minimal travel may be required
