Job Description

IT Group Chief Technology Office (GCTO) End User Services in the Cognitive and Digital Services (CDS) offers an end-to-end service in the development and implementation of Amelia (AI virtual agent), Contact Center Modernization, data science, machine learning and advanced analytics out to the firm. This role sits within the ‘Cognitive Implementation' organization that is comprised of highly skilled data scientists, neuroscientists, and natural language processing experts, machine learning engineers, computational linguist, integration and user experience experts.

The role provided here will lead the Cognitive Insights team comprised of data scientists and engineers. This team is responsible for developing and implementing solutions in the below areas of focus:

  • NLP/NLU systems
  • Predictive analytics ML models
  • Intelligent Process Automation systems

The role will entail:

  • Overseeing NLU support and development for Amelia (The banks Cognitive Agent)
  • Building MLaaS solutions by demonstrating existing IT resources and investments
  • Utilizing full potential of both as-a-service and custom ML applications
  • Collaborate with team to align architecture with business requirements
  • Stand up, test and maintain databases and information architecture
  • Build tools to automate data acquisition and aggregation
  • Develop data models and table schemas
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
  • Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
  • Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
  • Use data to discover tasks that can be automated
  • Design analytical models that support analysis and inference

You will also possess the following industry experience or knowledge:

  • You have knowledge and experience with machine learning, NLP/NLU, and MLaaS systems
  • You understand data visualizations
  • You have at least 3-5 years' experience in Statistical Modelling (Classification, Scorecard Models, Segmentation, Clustering, Bayesian statistics), Machine Learning algorithms both Supervised and Unsupervised
  • You are familiar with assembling and analyzing data sets from disparate sources applying quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems
  • You are experienced in text mining and natural language processing is a strong plus
  • You are familiar working within an Agile/DevOps foundation
