Job Description
As a Strategic Account Director (SAD), you will serve as the leader of client retention and satisfaction for national and complex health plans. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. As a seasoned healthcare leader, you will oversee an internal team of professionals to retain and grow our business through renewal, retention, and up-sell of existing clients. Your primary focus as the SAD will be to drive the client strategy through:
-Leading activities of the strategic account team by providing the overall strategy and direction
- Influencing client up-sell opportunities, growth, and retention by clearly communicating the vision amongst the team
-Assisting your team with strategizing, planning, and other tools to meet the client’s needs
-Negotiating and managing contracts and ensuring Accordant solutions are effectively positioned to result in increased revenue

Required Qualifications
*5+ years of cumulative experience managing complex, large healthcare clients with a focus in account ownership and strategy
*Must be able to travel 40-50% and as dictated in order to build and maintain client relationships and manage the overall relationship

Preferred Qualifications
*5-10 years experience managing complex national health plans
*Management or team lead experience

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
