Engineering Supervisor

Engineering Supervisor sought by Nucor Corporation, Nucor Steel Lexington for the Lexington location. Candidate must have a Bach's deg in Electrical or Automation Engg & 7 yrs of exp in planning & directing the installation & testing of Overhead Cranes, Electric Arc Furnaces, & Danieli eqpmt in steel-making plants. Must have exp in: Managing & leading interdisciplinary teams of engg professionals in the dvlpmt of innovative eqpmt & automation solutions for steel mills.; Dsgng, dvlpg, troubleshooting, & maintaining Danieli Yard Mgmt Systems (YMS), PLC-based systems, HMI interfaces, data acquisition technologies, & SCADA systems.; Dsgng tech'l specs for optical fiber n/work ring, optical fiber type, & accessories for the optimal communication between steel mill automation & control systems.; & Studying project plans to determine feasibility & commissioning schedule for automation systems for DRI & steel production. Alternatively, if no Bach's deg, will accept 1 yr of additional directly rltd exp for each yr not completed towards a Bach's deg (11 yrs total).
