Industrial Automation Engineer

Industrial Automation Engineer sought by Nucor Corporation, Nucor Steel Lexington - Lexington, NC location. Candidate must have a Bach's or foreign equiv deg in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engg & 2 yrs of industrial electrical maintenance & automation exp in the steel industry. Exp must incl: Exp w/ Oracle (equiv to Enterprise Resource Planning "ERP" System), Minitab, VBA, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel & AutoCAD; Dvlpg control systems utilizing programmable logic controller (PLC's incl S7 300, S7 400, S7 1515F)/ Human Machine Interface (HMI) platforms incl Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC & prgmg packages; Industrial process automation n/working to connect eqpmt & devices for data communication & control (ie; Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, Controlnet, etc.); Configuring, troubleshooting & using Windows Operating Systems, N/working, virtualization & D/bases for Control System Applications; & Dsgng, implmtg, & configurating new automation systems, upgrading older machinery to new control platforms, & upgrading existing mfg lines.
