Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support and maintain multiple Solderwave and Selective Soldering equipment platforms as well as continuously improving the manufacturing process.
 
Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support and Maintain Selective Soldering 
  • New Model Development and Trial Maturation for all ASM Soldering processes
  • Develop and deliver presentations, train other associates, Provide direction to other associates, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment using standardized root cause analysis techniques.
  • Develop and Install Manufacturing Equipment to improve ASM manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
* 2 year degree + 4 years experience or 4 year College Degree in a related technical field
* Knowledge of computer programming
* Familiar with wave soldering and Selective Soldering systems
* Familiar with IPC standards
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Strong analytical ability
 
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
* Bachelor of Science in a related engineering field
* 3+ years related work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
* Expert knowledge of wave soldering and Selective Soldering equipment
* IPC certified
* 6-sigma certification
