Schneider ElectricPower Products has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate, energetic andself- driven system architect for our IIoT products. As a part of the systemsengineering team, the essential responsibility of the System Architect is toensure that Power Products digital projects are architected, developed, anddeployed in an efficient and consistent manner minimizing cost and risk. Thedeployed
you will createdesigns for connected devices. In this position your responsibilities willinclude:
Technical leadershipresponsibility for one or more concurrent projects that require custom system designand deployment. For each project to which he/she is assigned, the SystemArchitect should have a full understanding of implementation requirements andhow multiple pieces of the implementation will fit together.
Work with ProjectManagers to define the best technical approach to meet customer businessrequirements using one or more Schneider offerings
Lead the system architectureof the proposed customer solutions based on defined requirements
Work directly withother groups within the organization to develop and validate proposed solutionsand designs
Lead solution designreview sessions and obtain design approval from customers
Leadershipresponsibilities include providing technical guidance to other members of thedepartment as well as senior management
Prepare projectanalysis, design, functional architecture documentation
Work with systemsengineers to define, create and animate customer use cases that deliver simpleuser interfaces and experiences.
Work with systemsengineers to translate marketing and system requirements into engineeringspecifications.
Ensure the alignmentof products/solutions with customer values
Leverage globallyavailable software, UX and UI platforms.
Stay in front oftechnology trends and competition to help deliver innovative offers.
Identify path-findingopportunities and create proof-of-concepts with a focus on future generationsof product
Bachelor of Sciencedegree in a related engineering field with 10 years of full system life cycle developmentexperience.
Comprehensiveknowledge of system architectural principles, methods, and techniques
Great leadershipskills, ability to influence partners and stakeholders internally andexternally
Network solutionsexperience and strong knowledge of network services and devices
Awareness of customerpain points and ability to find features that bring value
Ability to work andcontribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced technical drivenenvironment
Developedinterpersonal skills with an ability to interact and influence internal andexternal customers of various technical abilities
Ability toself-manage, multi-task and learn new skills quickly
Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
Ability to travel toSchneider Electric and customer sites worldwide
