Position Information

The First Cook is responsible for preparation of all assigned meals for patients, cafeteria and catered functions. It also supports the production for the next meal by cooking menu items and doing preparation work as assigned. The cook serves on the patient tray line and prepares late trays for delivery to patients. The cook consistently adheres to standards of food safety and sanitation.
